These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Spendfully ("the Service"), operated by Easton & Code, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Spendfully is a web application that connects to your YNAB account via OAuth and provides AI-powered insights and chat about your financial data. We are not a financial advisor — nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid YNAB account to use Spendfully. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@spendfully.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its APIs
• Share your account with others
• Use the AI Assistant to generate harmful, misleading, or fraudulent content

5. Subscription and Billing

Spendfully offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

6. YNAB Integration

Spendfully accesses your YNAB data with your explicit permission via YNAB's OAuth API. You may revoke this access at any time from your account settings or directly through YNAB. Spendfully is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YNAB (You Need A Budget). YNAB is a registered trademark of You Need A Budget LLC.

7. AI Features

The AI Assistant is powered by Google Gemini. AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. Do not rely on AI-generated financial insights as the sole basis for financial decisions. Always verify important information independently.

8. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Intellectual Property

The Spendfully name, logo, and application code are owned by Easton & Code, LLC. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over your YNAB data or chat conversations.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that YNAB data will always be current. YNAB API availability is outside our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easton & Code, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on AI-generated insights.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you via email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
